Glorup med bygninger, park og landskab er med p\u00e5 den danske kulturkanon p\u00e5 grund af de kulturhistoriske kvaliteter, der bla knytter sig til den\u00a0engang glorv\u00e6rdige park tegnet af N. H. Jardin i 1774 i forbindelse med overhofmarskal Adam Gottlob Moltkes storstilede fornyelse af hus og have. I 2009 blev udarbejdet en helhedsplan for renovering af parken. Efter realisering af fase 1 og 2 i planen i form af ny ankomstplads, hovedsti og trappeforl\u00f8b samt foryngelse af beplantningen og oprensning af to s\u00f8er, er turen i fase 3 kommet til et af havens \u00e6ldste og mest centrale elementer, det fascinerende spejlbassin, der er en af Glorups helt store attraktioner, som b\u00e5de lokale og udefra kommende g\u00e6ster \u00f8nsker at opleve.<\/p>\n

Bassinet, der er 200 m langt med font\u00e6ne\u00f8 i midten, er forfaldet mere og mere over tiden. Ved at t\u00f8mme bassinet, oprenses og fjernes bundsediment og dyndlag, ligesom stens\u00e6tningerne genoprettes, og de omkringst\u00e5ende store lindtr\u00e6er besk\u00e6res. Projektet har ogs\u00e5 modtaget st\u00f8tte fra Augustinusfonden.<\/p>\n
